‘Don’t
let them stop playing’…Bubi Chen, renowned jazz musician,
Surabaya, Indonesia
‘I’ve listened to the album
a few times and I can’t believe they’re so young. The album
grabs you from the first song and flows like the Nile all the way through.
A strong, complete, well-balanced album’…Eugene L. McGriff,
music aficionado, New York, USA
‘It’s easy on the ears and
like honey to the soul. An amalgam of jazz, R&B and hip hop with just
a touch of everything else. I’m anxiously awaiting the release of
the next album, ‘Simply Saxy’…H. Clay Myers, music connoisseur,
Virginia, USA
‘Everything happens for a reason,
and so was my meeting with Gadiz and Bass. It must have been God’s
design for us to get acquainted with each other. I am extremely delighted
to have worked with these two extraordinary talents whose skills would
amaze almost anyone. I have no doubt at all those who hear this album
will feel the vibes and the chemistry that captivated us all while making
this album. May God bless you all’…Barry Likumahuwa, Sax
Chemistry 2006
‘I am extremely delighted and proud
to have been part of this project. This extraordinary album does not in
any way reflect the natural age of Gadiz and Bass. In fact, the outstanding
talent manifested in the music is in all respects a reflection of depth
and maturity. It proves our belief that music knows no age barriers’…
Tompi, Sax Chemistry 2006
‘It’s a fact that saxophone
is an instrument extremely difficult to play in the correct and right
manner; much less to master. It is even rarer to hear children playing
it with such finesse, no less amazing than the senior players are. Well,
much to everyone’s surprise including yours truly, Gadiz and Bass
only 12 and 10 years old, successfully broke the old popular notion that
the saxophones are only meant for grown up players as they proved on this
album. Indeed it has been a tremendous experience and fun too, watching
both Gadiz & Bass play my music. All the best to you both and keep
collecting those trophies!’...Laurence Manaba, Exotic Saxes 2004.
‘Meet two young saxophone prodigies,
Gadiz V and Bass G, who take to the stage like world-class players and
who can easily win applause from their own idols, the likes of Kenny G
and Dave Koz’…Nyoman Ari Gunadi, Bali & Beyond March
